We spent an unbelievable week in Playa del Carmen and lucky for us Herbert was a big part of it along with Kirk, his lovely wife and Jesus and Pedro who went fishing with us. Herbert is a truly wonderful guy, he is a one man Chamber of Commerce for Playa del Carmen!. He honestly cares for the people who hire his boats. He will take care of you literally from beginning to end (very very rare in business today especially on our side of the ocean) . We can`t thank you enough for making our week in Paradise so much more enjoyable, catching the sailfish was a big bonus. We will be back for sure,.

Herbie!  I did receive your email the day you sent it, but then I lost it in piles of stuff in my inbox, but so glad you wrote me and I’m sorry it took me so long to get back with you.I heard from Herb, of you two hanging out together on and off… I was glad to hear that.I enjoyed my trip to Playa very much!  Especially my diving.  See photos attached. I only got three, from the people I went out with…but I saw stuff that were once in a lifetime sites---a school of Tarpon bigger than I was, an Eagle Ray with a 7ft wing span…graceful and beautiful…And thank you for steering me to a dive shop that gave me a comfort level resulting in a great time!

Fred, as I told you, Lori and I met a wonderful guy in Playa (see the photo below) who runs the best fishing boats right from the beach in downtown Playa. Right in front of the Blue Parrot and Playa Palms. Our new friend Herbert from Australia will take care of you on your next trip to Playa during the Winter. You and the boys will have a great time fishing with him. He gave up the old life to stay, as he says, in PARADISE, right in Playa Del Carmen. He even tried to convince Lori and I to stay with him and live happily ever after! If we had one more Mohito, we would have stayed.   He guarantees a Blue Marlin, a Sailfish, ten Mahi Mahi, and a 80 pound Amberjack on each trip or you get all of your money back!!!!! And, then on your return to the beach after fishing,  he cuts the fish up right in front of you with his bare hands, puts his magical spices on them, cooks them up, gives you a Corona, and then you eat the best fish tacos ever. And for dessert, he gets you Gelato from your favorite place on 5th Avenue.   Herbert is the man!!!  Just mention my name and he will take care of you.   Len
