Rancho Baaxal is a place for people who enjoy riding, or who want to try riding for the first time, in a non-commercial and natural environment. The 1 1/2 hour riding tour takes you on a leisurely trail ride through lush jungle and virgin beaches. While riding you have the chance of seeing some wildlife during tour like iguanas, exotic birds, birds of prey, butterflies, squirrels, porcupines, opossums, badgers, raccoons, wild pigs and more ....
Horses are a passion to Swedish ranch owner Lisa, whe runs the ranch more as a hobby than a business. Rancho Baaxal is located a short 30 minute drive north of Playa del Carmen close to Punta Maroma. It is a different kind of ranch in that Lisa refuses to have more than 10 horses and for this reason it is less commercial, more private, more natural, more rustic and has a more family style atmosphere. Small groups will always be her focus. Thus ensuring the well-being and happiness of guests and of course the horses. That is what matters most.

Discovery Jungle Park is a new and exciting tour concept, combining exciting activities at the top of the most ancient and tall trees of this region, with an unforgettable journey through the magical jungle of the Riviera Maya. The park is located 15 kms from Playa del Carmen. You drive the ATVs (four-wheeled motorcycle/buggy) to the park which takes around 30 to 40 min from town. The tour takes around 4 hours.

Built with total respect for nature, a network of platforms and cables allows you to go from tree to tree at an average height of 6 meters.
The activities are varied and numerous. Beginning with the easy balance bridge, and ending with the famous zip-line, “The Eiffel Tower”. 14ft Hobie Waves (for 1-3 pax), 14ft Hobie Wave Extreme (1-2 pax) and a 17ft Hobie Geta Wave (1-5 pax).
All catamarans are manned with a captian who takes you sailing.
For those interested in learning "How to Sail" a Catamaran we give private lessons upon request. We offer a Novice course which includes theory with 4 hours sailing, and the Advanced course - theory and 4 hours sailing.

If you have ever dreamed of parasailing, then Playa del Carmen is the place for you with the beautiful waters of the Caribbean Sea. Parasailing is an activity open to just about everyone. If you can sit, you can parasail. We offer both single and tandem flights. Tandem parasailing is especially popular among parents who want to accompany their young children.

Unlike many other parasailing operations, the take offs and landings are conducted from a platform at the back of the speedboat, and not from the beach.The captian of the boat controls your ascent and descent through a winch-driven system also mounted at the back of the speedboat. As you soar to heights up to 250 ft above the turquoise waters of the Caribbean, you will be as tounded by the panorama and spectacular views. With weather conditions permitting, and You willing, you can have the option of a "splash-dip landing" in the water just before landing back on the boat.
